Explore the possibilities and discover your creative energy in this half day yoga & mosaic workshop. Spend some time bonding with like-minded folks who are looking for a comfortable non-judgmental setting to let their creative juices flow.
Enjoy your time creating your own 6x6”mosaic wall art using natural materials such as slate, stones, and an assortment of other tesserae. Learn the art of creating a mosaic piece with texture and interest.
The day begins with a 30-minute yoga stretch & flow to prepare our bodies for sitting and our minds for cultivating creativity.

30-minute stretch & flow yoga

A mini presentation about your project; how-to methods, cutting techniques using a hammer & hardie, nippers, choosing your color combination and tesserae (stones, slate, smalti glass, etc) to create interest, adhesives and brief safety with tools

Rest of the time to work on your project
Participants need to bring:

Safety Glasses (mandatory for my classes). Prescription glasses are fine.
